Objectives
- To provide the best assistance to Argus
IRB and their clients
Experience
- Focused on commercial litigation and
product liability defense in Arizona state and federal courts,
especially motor vehicles, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and
heavy equipment. Primary responsibility for all phases of
litigation. Primary responsibility in defending wrongful death
claims. Experience in managing mass tort litigation.
- Considerable experience in taking
depositions of expert and fact witnesses. Experience in
managing complex and mass tort litigation. Experience in all
phases of pretrial litigation. Appellate work includes reported
case Dillon v. Zeneca Corp., 202 Ariz. 167 (Div.2,
2002).
- Received B.A. degree from the
University of Detroit in 1991 (summa cum laude) and J.D. degree
from Wayne State University in 1996.
- Former President of the PCBA Young
Lawyers Division and, in 2008, won a “40 under 40” business
leaders award from the Tucson Citizen.
- Have been named Outstanding Pro Bono
attorney twice by Southern Arizona Legal Aid and earned a “Top
50 Pro Bono Attorney” award from the Arizona State Bar in 2007
and again in 2012.
- Currently serves on the Arizona Supreme
Court’s Judicial Performance Review Commission, and also serves
as a Special Magistrate for the Tucson City Court.
- Rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell and
named one of the Best Lawyers in America in the area of business
litigation.
